I have a small Water leak on my PY26 1976.

This leak look like to come from the shaft seal.

So I would like install a PSS shaft seal. Is it a good things?

Did someone all ready do this job? If yes do you have any recommendation or directive?

I think this shaft seal is hard to reach.

Any information on this Will be appreciate.

Thx!

Martin

Wow this is a tough crowd.
Did you do it?  Did you learn anything?
I may--will--have to, someday.  I have a vibration I've toned down to not much, but still working on it.  Never measured the shaft well, and could not pull it out even with a slide hammer or tightening the flange bolts against a spacer.
Bon chance
Pat
